JOB VISION AND COMPANY INFORMATION
To work as an employee at Dave Mader State Farm, assisting in servicing, selling, and marketing State Farm products and services, while providing quality service to customers. This position also offers the opportunity to become an independent contractor State Farm agent.

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
  • Experience in retail sales, marketing, or customer service is desirable, but not required.
  • Proficient keyboard typing skills and experience with Microsoft Office and other popular computer software.

  • Ability to learn and apply product, industry, and market knowledge to make professional recommendations to prospects and policyholders and to satisfy insurance licensing requirements.

JOB RELATED TRAINING COURSES AND PROGRAMS
  • Successfully complete all company, state, and federal requirements (licenses) to sell and service designated State Farm products and continue to be licensed in good standing as required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide prompt, accurate, friendly, cost-effective service and utilize it as a basis for establishing a marketing opportunity.
  • Work with agent's computer system to update information in customer databases.
  • Prepare quotes, forms, policies, and endorsements when required.
  • Conduct needs-based sales presentations in or outside the agent's office supported by technology.
  • Generate and follow up on leads and prospects, schedule appointments, identify client needs, and market appropriate products.
  • Close the sale with current prospective customers.
  • Meet & exceed marketing & sales goals set by the agent.
  • Network and build business referral relationships.
  • Implement the agency's marketing/sales plan at direction of the agent.
WORK SCHEDULE
  • Full time position with a 40-hour work week.
  • Office Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Weeknights and Saturdays by Appointment.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
  • Solid base salary + Uncapped Commission + Bonus Opportunities

Compensation $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
